Service Call FAQs - Frequently Asked Questions
How Do I Schedule a Service Call?
You can call me directly at 269-425-1362 or email me at vincesadowski@gmail.com. You can also CLICK HERE to contact me.
How Soon Can I Expect to Have You Visit?
Generally, I can schedule service calls within a week. Sometimes it will be the following week.
Are You Able to Do Remote Service Calls?
In some cases, I am able to speak with you on the phone and use software to remotely access your computer. It depends on the problem you are having.
Call me to discuss your problem, and we can decide together if remote repair will work. If so, I will have you visit the Remote Help page to set up a remote link on your computer so that I can access your equipment. This means that if the problem is that your computer won't turn on, I won't be able to access it remotely.
Do You Give Estimates By Phone?
Yes! I would be happy to speak to you about what your concerns are with your computer, and help you consider your options with some basic recommendations. Maybe it will be something easy, and you won't need a service call at all! I will do my best to outline what to expect as far as work needed, costs, and time to repair based on your information.
Do You Work Evenings or Weekends?
Generally, I work during the day on weekdays. I can work around your scheduling needs, including evenings and weekends when needed.
How Long Do Service Calls Last?
The typical call is one or two hours. If the work is more complicated, I may take your equipment with me to work on further. In that case, I may have it up to a few days. If new equipment or parts are needed, I will come back on another day after parts are obtained. I will always communicate openly with you about what to expect.
What Cities Are in Your Service Area?
I work in the Greater Traverse City Area. Grand Traverse County: Traverse City, Williamsburg, Acme, Grawn, Interlochen, Kingsley, and Mayfield. Leelanau County: Leland, Suttons Bay, Cedar, Empire, Glen Arbor, Lake Leelanau, Maple City, Northport, and Omena. Benzie County: Frankfort, Benzonia, Beulah, Elberta, Honor, Lake Ann, and Thompsonville.
I also do remote work beyond the area. See a map by visiting the Service Area page.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, check, and major credit cards are accepted.
What do your clients say about your services?
Now that you have moved to Northern Michigan, do you still see clients from Soutwest Michigan?
Yes, I do serve existing clients from my old service area whenever I can remotely. There are many things I can do by talking through problems or helping by remotely accessing client computers. CLICK HERE to contact me for more information.
